The Bonfire Restaurant: A Seafood Haven in Ocean City, MD

02/'26 Went here for Valentine's Day dinner. Service was excellent along with food choices. Price is reasonable when you consider all that's offered. Prime rib and shrimp= surf & turf at other places is in the $40 range, so $45 for AYCE plus drink & dessert is reasonable. Desserts were endless and they were even making fresh donuts! They offer all kinds of fried seafood and chicken, barBQ ribs & pulled pork, steamed shrimp & oysters on half shell. If you're a vegetarian, their are some options, but this is really for the seafood/meat lovers. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I went here for the first time! It did not disappoint. It was very crowded, there were lots of people waiting for a table, but we lucked up and got a table right away! The food stations were stocked with food! Nice salad bar and lots of Seafood! There was an added charge of $20 for crab legs, which I purchased and were presented well and tasted even better, Delicious with melted butter, yummy! Don't hesitate to stop by and try them out, we'll worth the wait! Oh desserts as well for the sweet tooth lovers!

This place was amazing. The service was quick and everyone was friendly and attentive. I recommend taking your appetite because they had everything you could imagine on the Buffett I think it cost around 46.99 per person. Another 20.00 to add 1lb of snow crab legs. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be going back.

2025 Update: This place has excellent food, better than most of the more trendy, themed, burger and fries, chicken finger type places. With the prices of everything going up in OCMD, The Bonfire continues to provide an outstanding dining experience and value. The meats are high quality. Highly recommend! If you like to eat a large variety of different dishes, this is the place. Good quality, clean, fresh. Friendly and attentive staff.

Food was hot and awesome. Definitely have something for everyone. Oysters on half shell were amazing. Had same waitress 4 nights in a row, Shannon. She was outstanding and very attentive on keeping drinks filled and table cleared. Although I did have to explain a finger tattoo I have. 22. Number of veterans per day that committed suicide. Everyone i had contact with was amazing. See you again this summer.

I went for my birthday and the staff was so polite and helpful. They were nice and made small talk with us. The food was pretty fresh and hot. I wish they could turn down the heat lamps a little bit lol. Never had such good service at a buffet before.

The food is great! I love the prime rib and brisket carving station! The salad bar and fried shrimp are great too. It's a nice relaxed dining atmosphere and the service has always been great whenever I come. Also the cookies on the dessert bar, not sure if they are made in house but they are amazing the right combo of sweet and flavor seriously delicious! I come to Bonfire every time I visit O. C.

I have a severe seafood and shellfish allergy but the rest of my family love seafood. The staff and manager had the chef come out and talk with me before we ordered. He was amazing, cooked an awesome steak to my liking on a grill that no seafood touched. They were truly so accommodating and it was very much appreciated.
